I think one of the most important things I bring to the board is a fresh eye. While I am relatively new to the Fjord breed, I have over 40 yearsí experience with horses, both in and out of the show ring. I am a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist on horses that I broke and trained up the levels. Since discovering Fjords Iíve made learning about them a priority, even going so far as to attend the 2019 Stallion Evaluation in Norway. I also traveled to Virginia in 2019 to attend the Educational forum and Annual meeting to learn how Fjords are evaluated. That same year I presented two of my Fjords at Dressage at Devon where my boy, LVG Prydar, was the highest scoring Fjord - the first time in the history of the Devon show that the Fjords were represented. Fjords are only starting to be appreciated outside of the "Fjord world" in this country. One of my personal goals is to help promote the breed, particularly in dressage, which is my expertise.

I have my BS in Finance from Siena College. I worked in the Pension Consulting field until 2006 when I started my own successful horse training and boarding business in Schodack, NY. Having my own business has helped to hone my people and business skills, which I know will be an asset to the NFHR board.
